They Said...

Hilary Swank-
Yes, I have a lot of scenes with her. She's fantastic, she's so sweet and really talented. She's a real, real talent. I'm sure you've seen her in other work. So it was a fantastic experience to be able to work with her and what she does in the movie without words, I mean she doesn't say very much in the movie, is real talent.

Viewer-
After seeing her in "Because of Winn-Dixie" and "Bridge to Terabithia," I think AnnaSophia Robb is one of the most gifted young actresses to come along in the movies in years.

Viewer on "The Reaping"-
Even though she had very little to say in this horror film, she had tons of dialouge which she surprisingly did very well at for an 11-year-old girl. This isn't her best acting, but she did a great job....like usual.

Critic-
AnnaSophia plays the part of Loren deliciously! No one could've played that role any better. Not even Dakota Fanning. I think AnnaSophia will have an oscar in a few years without a doubt.

While a fine young actor, she just can’t nail the creepiness behind her prettiness. All the special effects and glowing eyes can’t hide the fact that she just is too darn cute to play the devil incarnate.

Leslie is captivating from the word go, and young AnnaSophia Robb, who plays the part, is obviously a naturally gifted actress.

But she was a little trooper. We would be filming at three in the morning and she never got tired. We were inspired by her.

She's interesting. She's a really lovely girl. I felt comfortable with her right away because when I'd written the song 'Butterfly,' really when I wrote it, it was for my children in some ways. But I mean, they were sort of the inspiration because I'd read the book and the script, but I hadn't met AnnaSophia. But at the same time, as I was writing it for my girls or using their personalities or my love for them as inspiration for the song, I was imagining who this girl was that I was meant to be writing the song for. And she looked exactly like Opal.

Jordan Bridges (Uncle Gard) at the "Bridge to Terabithia" premiere-
AnnaSophia is the sweetest little girl. She's very mature for her age, and she's very tasteful with all of the roles she recieves. I loved filming the movie with her. She acts very much like Samantha because she's so generous.
