Biography

AnnaSophia Robb was born on December 8th, 1993, in Denver Colorado. She grew up with a dream of becoming an actress, but only when she was 8 years old, did it start happening.
After years of begging her parents for an agent, they finally gave in and started looking for one. Instead of an agent, however, they came across a local talent agency run by actors, and got AnnaSophia involved. At the class, she did workshops where she could perform and get tips on acting. While there, she booked several radio voice-overs, and ads in newspapers.
AnnaSophia also joined an acting class that the talent agency (Big Fish Talent Agency) recommended. She got to learn the fundamentals of comedic and dramatic acting, and learned how to slate. (Introduce herself for auditions). The classes lasted for 6 weeks, and once they were over, had a few invited agents and managers from LA come and watch their final workshop. They also got invited to scout the talents at the agency. AnnaSophia got scouted by Mitchell Gosset, and her first manager, Harriet Greenspan formally with Gem Entertainment.
In an estimated time of 3 weeks, AnnaSophia and her mother went off to LA to experience their first pilot season. She had 42 auditions during the season and, in the end, only booked one commercial for McDonald's, advertising their happymeal, Bratz Dollz. She then went on her second season. On her way to LA she listened to recorded books, one just happened to be Because of Winn Dixie; the next movie she'd be auditioning for, and, soon after, booking. After 3 auditions, and 1 screen-test, she finally officially landed the lead role of Opal.
However, AnnaSophia's first movie that realeased in 2004, was Samantha: An American Girl Holiday. Where she starred, opposite Kelsey Lewis, as Samantha Parkington.
Since then AnnaSophia has been booking roles like crazy. In 2005 Because of Winn Dixie and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory released. 2006 may have seemed like the easiest year for AnnaSophia, as she hadn't released any films, but she was still busy filming 6 movies: Bridge to Terabithia, The Reaping, Doubting Thomas, Jumper, Sleepwalking, and Have Dreams, Will Travel.
AnnaSophia's on a roll, although, I am so sure that this is just the beginning!
